laundry service, clean clothes!

I realized I promised a laundry update a while back and never followed through.

Well, let's just say laundry pila-style only happened once.

Just for the sake of a cultural lesson, I'll explain the process.

There's "clean" water in the middle of the three sections of the pila.

You put whatever you're washing in one of the two side sections and scoop water out of the middle.
Using pila soap, you scrub your clothes.
Using a bucket, you rinse your clothes. The water drains out the back.

Then, you wring out your clothes as well as you can and hang them out to dry. I apparently didn't do a good wringing job, because my clothes were still wet after about 3 days...hmm...

Then, if "you" are me, you go in your room, close the door, and see this sign:

"Laundry service, clean clothes!!! pay the same as in the street, the difference is that your clothes do not load down the street. (ask Adita or Patty)"

No more pilas for me. I'm from the U.S. I'd rather pay!
