Indescribable, Uncontainable

From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea
Creation's revealing Your majesty
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring
Every creature unique in the song that it sings
All exclaiming
Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
All powerful, untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God

I've been blessed during my time here in Guatemala to be able to make some weekend excursions to beautiful places.

Standing in awe of breath-taking Lago Atitlan and the active volcano, Pacaya, I have been amazed by the handiwork of God.

"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork." Psalm 19:1

"Oh Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures." Psalm 104:24

"When I look at you heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?" Psalm 8:3-4

Seeing God's creations should humble us.

Today I am humbled because it is impossible for me to wrap my mind around who God is, and I all too often get sidetracked from Him in the midst of day-to-day life.
